I don't.

What I have is a clear direction, a lot of ground to cover, and a decision to document every step of it honestly — the wins, the confusion, and the hard lessons in between.

I work in post production and support at an AV integration company in Lagos. My days involve rack building, support tickets, preventive maintenance, and documentation. It is hands-on, practical work and I genuinely enjoy it.

But I know where I want to go — cloud infrastructure, security, and building systems that sit at the intersection of physical and digital environments. Getting there requires deliberate effort and I have decided that documenting that effort publicly is the most honest way to hold myself accountable.

What you will find here

This blog will cover:

Things I am learning — certifications, tools, concepts

Projects I am building — starting with an AI-powered knowledge management system for AV engineers

Honest reflections on the process of possibly transitioning careers/ pivoting while working full time

No fluff. No performance. Just the work.

Prof Gabs is a nickname that stuck. I am not a professor. But I have always believed that the best way to learn something is to teach it — to document it clearly enough that someone else can follow. That is what this site is.

Welcome to my journey.
